Personal Info
Hi. John here. This is where I'm supposed to write about my personal side. But do you really want to know this stuff? You do? Alright, then here goes.
I'm the youngest of 5 kids, and the only boy (that's 4 older sisters in case you missed that). Mom and Dad have been married for like 56 years, or so (I stopped counting at 50). They live in Florida with a bunch of other old people, three cats, and fleas when in season. There may be an alligator in the lake outside their home, but that doesn't qualify as a pet.
I have 6 nieces and nephews, and one great-niece. That's right, my Mom is a Great-Grandma. Why does this make ME feel older? I have no children (as of this writing) but stay tuned. If and when I do have kids, I promise that it won't affect my service to clients. Oh wait, this is the personal section and I'm not supposed to "talk shop." Sorry.
I moved to Manhattan Beach in 1990, and never looked back. I began my Real Estate career when the market was terrible. I did so, because I had a passion for the industry, and I didn't care that things were in the tank. The market came back. See how smart I was?? The market has slowed again. Wow. I've been around a long time.
I have tried to find the balance in life between work and play. In June I ruptured a bicep tendon during a rafting trip that required surgery. So much for finding the balance. I think I prefer being a workaholic. I've never heard of someone rupturing a bicep tendon while holding an open house.
I have a sense of humor. At least I think it's a sense of humor. This is a good trait to have when you are involved in a crazy business like Real Estate. It makes the inevitable challenges that much more bearable. In my spare time, I enjoy researching, buying and learning new techno-gadgets. I love fine wines, fine-dining, decorating my new home and new office, and spending time with interesting people (with and without senses of humor).
Have you read down this far? You have? Wow. Thanks! I thought I lost you at the "alligator" reference.
